Mercian Elite Player Glove
The Mercian Elite Player Glove is engineered to deliver maximum protection, grip, and performance for high-level players. Featuring an open palm design with a silicon-printed internal surface, it provides enhanced grip and control, with a herringbone pattern inspired by Mercian’s traction grip technology.
A redesigned protective cage forms the core of the glove, creating a raised spine that lifts the point of impact away from the back of the hand. This construction generates a protective air gap, reducing direct force transfer while maintaining a lightweight and breathable structure. The lattice design further enhances strength while minimising weight.
Extended and curved finger plates provide additional protection across the fingers and first knuckle, while the thumb benefits from an overlapping dual-shell design for increased coverage. All protective elements are foam-backed for comfort and encased within an improved stretch Lycra outer, delivering enhanced flexibility, fit, and freedom of movement.
The glove is secured with a cuff and Velcro fastening for a stable and adjustable fit during play.
